A2 Category Compliance

We operate under the UK CAA’s Open-Category A2 regulations: using drones up to 2 kg, staying at least 50 m from uninvolved people, within Visual Line of Sight, and always below 120 m altitude. Our pilots hold the official A2 Certificate of Competency, along with the required Flyer ID and Operator ID, ensuring fully compliant, safe, and responsible aerial operations.

Advancing Safety and Capability with the GVC

For complex commercial projects, such as urban surveys, working over people, or use of heavier drones, we hold the General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC). This CAA-recognised qualification meets the highest standards of pilot competence, supports Operational Authorisations like PDRA‑01 under the Specific Category, and gives our clients peace of mind that we exceed regulatory requirements.
